YouTube makes LGBT videos visible again

mountain view - YouTube says a problem with its Limited Mode has been solved. Therefore, LGBT videos are also displayed when this mode is turned on. That made the video site known on Friday by means of a blog post.

YouTube was under threat last month when many videos about, for example, homosexuality, were no longer visible in the Limited Mode. A filter that unjustly denoted the videos as adult-only content has been modified.

Limited Mode is intended to filter out adult content and can be enabled in schools and libraries, for example. YouTube emphasizes that the feature is not intended to filter videos based on gender, gender identity, political views, race, religion or sexual preference.
