- Palmeiras are determined to sign Barcelona loanee Vitor Roque before the Brazilian transfer window shuts on Feb. 28.

Palmeiras' Interest in Vitor Roque

Palmeiras are actively pursuing Barcelona loanee Vitor Roque before the transfer window deadline in Brazil. Roque, who joined Real Betis on a season-long loan from Barcelona, is a target for Palmeiras. Despite the challenges of meeting financial demands and convincing Betis to cut short the loan, Palmeiras remain hopeful.

Barcelona's Stance

Roque, who has a contract with Barcelona until June 2031, is only allowed to leave on a permanent deal. Barcelona is looking for offers around €25m for the young forward.

Real Betis' Position

Real Betis, where Roque has scored seven goals this season, has the option to extend his loan or make the move permanent. Betis has not clarified whether they would release Roque for free or demand compensation.

Future Plans for Roque

Despite Palmeiras' previous attempts to sign Roque being unsuccessful, the club is determined to secure his services. Roque's current club, Betis, expects him to stay and compete for a starting position amidst competition from new arrivals.
