Until 2021 3G networks in the air

- The current 3G networks of KPN, T-Mobile and Vodafone remain at least until 2021 in the air. The companies all have renewed their license for the required 2100MHz frequency. Has announced that the Radiocommunications Agency.

This frequency is used by the companies for their 3G networks. Established in the permits previously issued after the UMTS auction in 2000. These were originally due to expire on January 1, 2017, but the three providers have therefore chosen to renew it.

That's good news for the Treasury, as per company, the Agency has over € 23 million will be charged for this. What will happen after the new period with the 3G networks, is not known.
