UN impose new sanctions on North Korea

- The United Nations Security Council, North Korea Wednesday imposed new sanctions. The council punished the regime in Pyongyang for the nuclear test carried out by the start of January.

The Security Council voted unanimously for the resolution with new sanctions by the United States and China had established. All cargo to and from North Korea is now subject to an inspection. Sixteen North Koreans, including trade ambassadors in Syria, Iran and Vietnam were placed on a blacklist by the UN. The same goes for twelve North Korean organizations, businesses and institutions.
