Two suspects in attack on Dündar caught

- The Turkish police has arrested two men in connection with the failed attempt on Can Dündar, editor of the critical newspaper Cumhuriyet. In total there are now beside the shooter three suspects in custody. One would have supplied the weapon, one was on the lookout. From the third is the input still unknown.

According to the Turkish news channel CNN Department seems the arrests that there is a conspiracy to execute Dündar. The editor and Erdem Gül, the correspondent of the newspaper in the capital Ankara, shortly after the attack Friday
sentenced to five years and ten months, and five years in prison because they had published secret documents about Turkish weapons to Islamists in Syria and transferred to Qatar.
