Florida Teen Murdered by Couple Over Alleged Theft

A 16-year-old girl from Florida was brutally killed by a couple. Corsette met Steven Gress (35) on Valentine's Day through social media, visited him the next day, and then disappeared. The police reported that Gress and Michelle Brandes (37) allegedly beat the teenager, accusing her of stealing a ring from the apartment.

The police stated that the couple held Corsette against her will for more than seven days, torturing and abusing her. She reportedly suffocated when Gress and Brandes placed a billiard ball in her mouth and wrapped her face with plastic wrap. Her body was later dismembered and dumped in a garbage bin.

Gress and Brandes are currently in custody on suspicion of premeditated murder. Their case has not yet been brought to court.
