gaza strip, doha, qatar, aleppo, sefire, syria - Israeli military continues its attacks in Gaza Strip, causing casualties and targeting hospitals and refugee camps.

Israeli forces have carried out a series of attacks in various parts of the Gaza Strip, resulting in the death of many Palestinians and specifically targeting hospitals and refugee camps. The attacks, which began at the start of the new year, have been ongoing with the Israeli military conducting airstrikes in different locations in Gaza. The death toll of Palestinians killed in Israeli attacks has exceeded 100 since Thursday.

On Thursday, Israeli forces bombed the El Mavasi refugee camp, created for displaced people to seek shelter in Gaza, targeting the tent city there. At least 68 people lost their lives in the attack. The deputy police chief Hussein Shahwan, who is claimed to manage the Hamas forces in the region, was reportedly targeted in the attack. Philippe Lazzarini, the President of the UN Relief and Works Agency for Palestinian Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA), highlighted the attack in Mavasi, stating that even a humanitarian zone is not safe in Gaza.

Furthermore, Israeli forces continued their airstrikes on various locations in the Gaza Strip yesterday. Hospitals such as Indonesia and El Awda in the north of Gaza, as well as Shifa Hospital in the central region, were among the targets of Israeli attacks. Hamas issued a statement urging the international community to intervene in the genocide carried out by Israel. According to a UN report, Israel has conducted 136 attacks on at least 27 hospitals and 12 health centers in Gaza since the beginning of the war.

Hamas official Basem Naim announced that ceasefire negotiations have resumed in Doha, Qatar. The negotiations aim to reach a full ceasefire agreement, the withdrawal of the Israeli military from Gaza, and the return of the displaced to their homes.

In addition to the attacks in Gaza, Israeli forces targeted military facilities in the town of Sefire in the southern Aleppo countryside in Syria the night before. The Syrian Observatory for Human Rights reported that defense industry facilities and a military research center left from the Assad regime were hit. Reports from the area indicate casualties and injuries as a result of the attacks. Israel had previously carried out attacks on military facilities in Syria after the fall of the regime.
