Top Trump and Putin July 16 in Helsinki

moscow - The summit meeting between US President Donald Trump and his Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin is on July 16 in the Finnish capital Helsinki. The Kremlin announced that Thursday. The White House soon followed with the same announcement.

Russia and the US agreed on Wednesday about investing the meeting and about the agenda. The two heads of state will discuss, among other things, the relationship between the two countries and international affairs such as the war in Syria. Helsinki surfaced earlier this week in the corridors as a possible place of action.

Trump is at the NATO summit in Brussels on 11 and 12 July.
