- Dating Service Tinder has put a special information page online about sexually transmitted diseases (STDs). Users are urged to use condoms and to be honest with new partners about sexual history.
The page is the result of a conflict with the AIDS Healthcare Foundation, an American organization that wants to grow awareness about such diseases. Namely the foundation had run an advertising campaign in which the user Tinder, Grindr and similar services called to be careful with meetings via the service.
Tinder was not so amused and found that the foundation of the service wrongly associated with STDs. The two sides, however, have signed an agreement, whereby the AHS cease his campaign. In return Tinder has added a page on his site.
