Chelsea Agrees Deal to Sign Emanuel Emegha from RC Strasbourg

Chelsea has finalized a deal to bring Emanuel Emegha to the club from fellow BlueCo-owned side RC Strasbourg in 2026. Emegha, a 22-year-old Dutch forward, is set to join the team after an impressive performance in Ligue 1.

Background and Career

Emegha, who started his career at Jong Sparta, has had stints with Sparta Rotterdam, Antwerp, and Sturm Graz before moving to Strasbourg in 2023. He scored 14 goals and provided three assists in 27 games last season.

International Experience

The young forward has represented the Netherlands from under-15 to U21 levels, showcasing his talent on the international stage.

BlueCo Ownership

BlueCo, which includes Clearlake Capital and Todd Boehly, owns both Chelsea and Strasbourg, creating a pathway for talented players like Emegha to move between the clubs.

Future Prospects

Emegha's transfer follows BlueCo's signing of Brighton midfielder Julio Enciso, who will play for Strasbourg this season before potentially joining Chelsea in the future.
