AMSTERDAM - T-Mobile gets in the Dutch TV market. The telco will start in the spring with a new service: KNIPPR. This allows customers to create their own TV offer, T-Mobile announced Monday.
The Dutch TV market is now dominated by Ziggo and KPN. The added value of KNIPPR according to T-Mobile customers will thereby pay only for TV channels of their choice. The company hopes to continue competitors outwit the TV service to offer separate and not a mandatory combined package with telephony or Internet.
T-Mobile is currently with nearly all channels, including the video services on the Internet, in talks to offer the widest possible choice.
