Syria death toll rose further attacks

damascus - The death toll from the attacks in the Syrian cities of Homs and Damascus on Sunday has risen to 184. This was reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights Monday.

In the capital Damascus came 120 people dead, according to the Observatory. On the southern edge of the city four bombs were detonated. The death toll in Homs is still at 64. In that city exploded two car bombs in a district where live mainly Alawite. The Alawis are an offshoot of Shiite Islam. President Bashar al-Assad is one of them.

Responsibility for the attacks was claimed by terrorist group Islamic State.
