- Manchester United are looking to strengthen their attacking options by pursuing Mathys Tel or Christopher Nkunku on deadline day, sources confirm.

Manchester United Seeking Forward Additions

Manchester United are in talks to add either Mathys Tel or Christopher Nkunku to their squad on deadline day to enhance their attacking options. The club is close to finalizing a deal with Aston Villa for Marcus Rashford's loan move, while winger Antony has already been sent to Real Betis on a temporary basis. With the team facing a shortage of recognized strikers, efforts are being made to secure a forward before the transfer window closes. Talks with Bayern Munich for Tel have hit a snag, but negotiations are still ongoing as the player expresses interest in joining United. Nkunku, who has struggled for playing time at Chelsea, is being considered as an alternative option. Arsenal is also reportedly interested in Tel, but United is focusing on the 19-year-old forward. If Tel deal falls through, Nkunku could be included in a potential swap deal involving Alejandro Garnacho going to Chelsea. United is also looking to offload full-back Tyrell Malacia before the deadline, with Benfica showing interest in the Dutch international.
