Former Liverpool forward Roberto Firmino has officially joined Qatar's Al Sadd after departing Saudi Pro League club Al Ahli, where he led the team to victory in the Asian Champions League Elite.

Firmino's Departure from Al Ahli

Firmino signed a two-year deal with the Qatar Stars League champions after bidding farewell to Al Ahli, expressing gratitude for the historic moments shared with the Saudi club, especially winning the champions of Asia title.

Key Achievements

During his time at Al Ahli, Firmino played a crucial role in the club's success, scoring six goals in 12 games in the Asian Champions League Elite. He also provided vital assists in the final match against Kawasaki Frontale, helping Al Ahli secure the continental title.

Move to Al Sadd

Now, the 33-year-old forward joins Al Sadd, a team that clinched the domestic title last season, earning a spot in the upcoming Asian Champions League Elite competition.
