Socialist Valls expresses support for Macron

paris - Former Socialist Prime Minister Manuel Valls has in the run-up to the French presidential election next month, expressed its support for the independent candidate Emmanuel Macron.

Valls says this decision to be hoped that the far-right candidate Marine Le Pen in the Elysée can be held. As the polls stand now goes into the second round of elections between Macron and Le Pen.

The choice of Valls also linked to the bad score of the Socialist candidate Benoît Hamon in the polls. Hamon seems hopeless for the presidency. Valls lost the election for the socialists of Hamon. These were necessary because the current socialist president François Hollande decided not to run for a second term.

Macron (39) saw his movement and Marche a stormy entrance into French politics. The man from the political center was a few months ago, a complete outsider to the presidency. In the polls he is top favorite to win the election. The former Minister of Economic Affairs in the Cabinet of Valls is particularly popular among young voters.
