The victim was celebrating her boyfriend's birthday in a motel room with their 5-year-old daughter when they ordered a pizza from Marco's Pizza. The delivery driver, 22-year-old Brianna Alvelo, said she couldn't make change for a $50 bill, so the victim paid exact change and tipped $2. Later that night, Alvelo and a male accomplice returned to the motel armed with a knife and gun. They broke into the room, with the man pointing the gun at the victim and her daughter. While the man searched through the victims' belongings, Alvelo inexplicably attacked the woman, stabbing her 14 times. Alvelo has been arrested and faces charges of attempted murder, kidnapping, burglary, and aggravated assault. The victim underwent surgery and discovered she was pregnant while in the hospital. Police report that she is in stable condition despite the ordeal.
