Trump Media Group Files Lawsuit Against Brazilian Judge

The Trump Media & Technology Group has filed a lawsuit in Florida against Brazilian Supreme Court Justice Alexandre de Moraes. The company, behind Truth Social, is partnering with video platform Rumble in the case.

Rumble, based in Florida, was instructed by De Moraes to remove accounts of several right-wing Brazilian commentators, a move deemed unconstitutional by the American plaintiffs, who argue it violates freedom of speech rights in the US.

Although Trump's company was not directly affected by De Moraes' order, they claim potential repercussions due to their use of Rumble's technology. The lawsuit, as reported by The New York Times, coincides with a request to arrest former Brazilian president Jair Bolsonaro, a Trump ally.
