washington - President Trump's online store sparks debate by selling 'Trump 2028' merchandise, hinting at a potential third term bid, which is constitutionally prohibited in the U.S.

Controversy Over 'Trump 2028' Items on Online Store

President Donald Trump's webshop is currently offering merchandise emblazoned with 'Trump 2028,' hinting at a potential third presidential term, a move restricted by the U.S. Constitution.

Constitutional Limitations

The U.S. Constitution limits presidents to serving a maximum of two four-year terms. Despite this, Trump has hinted at the possibility of a third term, claiming there are ways to make it happen.

Challenges to a Third Term

Experts deem it highly unlikely for Trump to secure a third term without amending the constitution, a process that requires a two-thirds majority in both the House of Representatives and the Senate, followed by approval from at least 38 out of the 50 states.

'Trump 2028' Merchandise

Items available on trumpstore.com include a 'Trump 2028' cap priced at $50, T-shirts with 'Trump 2028 (Rewrite the Rules)' for $36, and matching drink coolers for $18.
