gaza strip - Gazans experienced a peaceful night without bombing sounds for the first time in 15 months after the ceasefire took effect.

Historic Night in Gaza

Following the ceasefire that came into effect at 11:15 local time on previous day, the Israeli attacks on Gaza Strip, which lasted for 471 days, have stopped. Gazans finally had a night without the terrifying sounds of explosions and bombings.

End of an Era

For over 15 months, the people of Gaza have been living under constant fear and the threat of attacks from the Israeli military. They woke up yesterday morning without hearing any explosions, a rare moment of peace that was shared on social media by many Palestinians.

Relief Amidst Tragedy

The ceasefire brought an end to the tragic period where thousands of Palestinians, including many women and children, lost their lives due to Israeli attacks. The morgues of hospitals were no longer filled with the bodies of those who fell victim to the violence.

New Chapter for Gaza

As Gazans finally experienced a night without bombings, the Aksa Hospital's morgue was seen locked for the first time since October 7. Journalist Ebubekir Abid shared the scene, expressing his relief that the dreadful days of death and suffering seem to be over.
