The negotiations for Huijsen intensified after Madrid's loss to Barcelona, with the player giving his approval swiftly despite interest from other Premier League clubs.

Huijsen, a 20-year-old defender, will join Real Madrid on a five-year contract, moving from the Premier League to LaLiga.

Álvaro Carreras Signing:

Madrid is also in advanced talks to sign full-back Álvaro Carreras from Benfica for around €60m, aiming for his arrival before the Club World Cup.

Carreras, a 22-year-old product of the Madrid youth system, is highly rated by manager Xabi Alonso.
