- Manchester United and Newcastle compete for Giorgio Scalvini, while Garnacho rejects move to Al Nassr. Latest news on transfers, rumors, and gossip.

Manchester United and Newcastle Battle for Scalvini

Manchester United and Newcastle United are set to go head-to-head in the race to sign Atalanta defender Giorgio Scalvini. The highly rated 21-year-old has attracted interest from several clubs, including Tottenham Hotspur and Serie A sides, with a transfer value of around €55m.

Scalvini's Rising Profile

Scalvini has made 107 senior appearances for Atalanta, establishing himself as a sought-after talent in Serie A. United's manager, Ruben Amorim, is looking to strengthen the defense, but faces competition from Newcastle, who are leveraging Sandro Tonali's connection to Scalvini.

Garnacho's Rejection and Future Plans

On the other hand, Manchester United's winger Alejandro Garnacho has turned down a move to Al Nassr despite a lucrative offer. The 21-year-old prefers to stay in Europe and aims to secure a transfer to a Premier League club. While United considers squad adjustments, Garnacho eyes a move to Chelsea, the only English club showing interest.
