london - After the renowned businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed, now his brother Salah is also being accused of sexual abuse by several women.

The Egyptian businessman Mohamed Al-Fayed, former owner of the luxury department store Harrods in London, passed away in August last year. In September, he came under scrutiny following a BBC report accusing him of sexual violence and assault. In the weeks that followed the report, over 400 people contacted the lawyers representing his victims. Other survivors and witnesses of the abuse also came forward. Lawyer Dean Armstrong stated at the end of October, "We now have clients who were attacked at Harrods, at the Fulham football club, and at several other locations associated with Al-Fayed."

Now, the British public broadcaster reports that Salah, one of the three brothers who purchased Harrods together in 1985, is facing similar allegations. Three former Harrods employees have accused Salah, who passed away in 2010 from pancreatic cancer, of sexual abuse and human trafficking. The women claim that Salah abused them between 1989 and 1997 in London, the South of France, and Monaco. One woman alleges that she was raped by Salah after being drugged. The three women also state that they were sexually abused by Mohamed Al-Fayed.

Harrods, under new ownership since 2010, stated that the new allegations highlight the "extent of the abuse" by the Fayeds.
