- Portugal forward João Félix completes a permanent transfer from Chelsea to Al Nassr on a two-year contract worth up to €50 million ($58m).

João Félix Completes Move to Al Nassr from Chelsea

Portugal forward João Félix has officially joined Al Nassr from Chelsea on a two-year deal, with the transfer fee potentially reaching €50 million ($58m). The Saudi Pro-League club unveiled the signing, expressing excitement about the new addition.

Details of the Transfer

Al Nassr did not disclose the exact transfer fee publicly, but reports suggest it could go up to €50 million. The 25-year-old striker, Félix, expressed his eagerness to contribute to the team's success, stating, 'Let's win together ... Joao Felix is a Nasraoui.'

Previous Stints and Expectations

Félix, who had a disappointing spell at Chelsea and AC Milan, is looking to revitalize his career at Al Nassr. Despite scoring 11 goals in 40 appearances for Chelsea, his performance fell short of expectations. Joining Al Nassr in Austria for preseason training, Félix will be under the guidance of Portuguese coach Jorge Jesus and play alongside compatriot Cristiano Ronaldo.

Félix's former club, Benfica, made unsuccessful attempts to re-sign him earlier this summer, failing to reach an agreement with Chelsea. Al Nassr, aiming to clinch the Saudi Pro League title after finishing third last season, sees Félix as a key addition to their squad.

Collaboration with Cristiano Ronaldo

Félix's move to Al Nassr also marks a reunion with his national teammate Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently extended his contract with the club for two more years. This partnership adds to the excitement surrounding Al Nassr's upcoming season as they strive for success both domestically and potentially in international competitions.

Reuters contributed to this report, providing additional insights into the transfer and Félix's career trajectory.
