colorado, usa - Paxten Aaronson, US international, is set to make a record move from Eintracht Frankfurt to MLS side Colorado Rapids for €7 million.

USMNT's Paxten Aaronson Nears Move to Colorado Rapids

United States international Paxten Aaronson is close to a transfer from Bundesliga's Eintracht Frankfurt to MLS club Colorado Rapids, breaking the Rapids' transfer record.

Record Transfer

The move is valued at up to €7 million ($8m), exceeding the previous record of €4.5m ($5.2m) for Brazil's Rafael Navarro.

Desired Move

Aaronson, 21, opted for the move to Rapids over interest from Championship sides and other European clubs to be closer to family and seek stability.

Professional Journey

The player, with four USMNT caps, joined Eintracht Frankfurt in 2023 from Philadelphia Union, and after loan spells, looks set to return to MLS.
