Old sales ban Samsung devices in US

- Although it appears that the vast patent war between various phone manufacturers has now passed, but the aftermath continues. Thus, Apple has this week had it done that some Samsung devices may no longer be sold in the United States. It just does comes to phones from 2012 or older...

The lawsuit is still a remnant of the titanic battle between Apple and Samsung concerning the use of certain patented technologies, such as giving a swipe across the screen to unlock the device. The case drags for years, but Judge Lucy Koh has now put the line below it.

However it is only a symbolic victory because of all devices that may no longer be sold, the Galaxy S III is the latest in 2012. A new version of it has been for some time practically no longer found in US stores.

Apple has thus won, but Samsung has in this case hardly affected by the sanctions.
