- Carlo Ancelotti will depart Real Madrid at the end of the season to become the new head coach of the Brazil national team, marking his first foreign coaching role.

Carlo Ancelotti Set to Lead Brazil National Team

Carlo Ancelotti, the current Real Madrid coach, is poised to leave the club after a series of disappointing results. The Brazilian Football Confederation (CBF) announced his appointment as the next coach of the Brazil national team, with an official start date of May 26, 2025.

Ancelotti's Departure from Real Madrid

Following Real Madrid's recent losses in key competitions, including the Champions League, Copa del Rey, and LaLiga, Ancelotti's departure from the club was confirmed. He will conclude his tenure at Madrid after the final league game against Real Sociedad. The Italian coach, known for his successful stints at Madrid, will take on a new challenge with Brazil, becoming the team's first foreign head coach.

Successes at Real Madrid

Ancelotti's legacy at Real Madrid includes three Champions League titles and two LaLiga triumphs. Despite his achievements, this season's poor performance led to his decision to part ways with the club. Madrid is currently finalizing details for Xabi Alonso, a former player and top coaching candidate, to succeed Ancelotti.
