Mother arrested because she was selling her own children

- An American mother was arrested by the Texas police when it appeared that she wanted to sell her own children. The agents caught her during the settlement of the deal. She had just sold her 7-year-old son for money.

The mother from the American city of Corpus Christi wanted to give her child to two men. That reports the American regional channel KRIS-TV. The police were actually only planning to do an invasion because of drugs, but agents were shocked when it turned out that there was a lot more going on.

Esmeralda Garza (29) has three children. In addition to her 7-year-old son, a three-year-old girl and her two-year-old daughter would also have been for sale. Negotiations on this were still underway.

Garza is now in prison awaiting her sentence. She can disappear behind bars for many years as buying and selling children is seen as a serious crime.
