orebro, sweden - Marwa, a nursing student, uses her scarf as bandage to help wounded in tragic shooting incident at Risbergska School in Örebro.

Shooting Incident at Risbergska School in Örebro

Marwa, a nursing student at Risbergska School in Örebro, showed immense courage and quick thinking during a tragic shooting incident. When gunshots rang out on a seemingly normal Tuesday, Marwa recognized the sounds from her past in war-torn Syria and immediately sprung into action.

Witnessing the chaos and bloodshed, Marwa didn't hesitate to provide first aid using her scarf as makeshift bandage to a wounded individual near her. Her selfless act potentially saved a life amidst the terrifying situation.

Another nursing student, Hellen, also faced the horror of the shooting. Locked in a classroom with her classmates, they remained silent and hidden under beds as the shooter passed by multiple times. The fear of not seeing her children again haunted Hellen during those dreadful moments.

As the police arrived, the extent of the tragedy became evident with casualties scattered throughout the school. Marwa, still in hiding, worried about the wounded she had tried to help. The shooter's final act turned the weapon on himself, ending the rampage.

The incident, labeled as Sweden's worst mass shooting, left a lasting impact on survivors like Marwa and Hellen. Despite escaping physical harm, the emotional scars will remain. Hellen's concern for missing classmates adds to the trauma, while Marwa's continuous thoughts are with the injured.

Parents anxiously awaited news of their children, witnessing the heart-wrenching scenes of casualties being carried away. The community reels from the shock of the senseless violence that unfolded at the Risbergska School in Örebro.
