Police Raids Conducted on Jeju Air Offices and Muan Airport After Plane Crash in South Korea

The flight from Bangkok crashed at the airport in the southwestern city of Muan. The plane landed without the landing gear deployed and collided with a wall after landing. A regional office of aviation authorities in Muan was also searched on Thursday.

The black boxes of the plane have been recovered. South Korean authorities have read the initial data from the cockpit voice recorder. The black box with flight data has sustained damage and will be sent to the United States for analysis.

Sunday's plane crash was the deadliest ever in South Korea. The country is observing a period of national mourning until Saturday.
