nairobi - Kenyan police arrest the widow of murdered Dutchman Tob Cohen for the second time, with new evidence emerging.

Second Arrest for Tob Cohen's Widow in Kenya

The police in Kenya have arrested the widow of the late Dutchman Tob Cohen for the second time on Thursday. Sarah had been previously arrested but was freed due to questionable decisions by Kenyan judges. It later emerged that she was having an affair with a senior judge in Nairobi.

Over the past few years, she obstructed every investigation attempt and also tried to claim Tob Cohen's inheritance. Tob's sister, Gabrie van Straten, fought tirelessly for justice, but unfortunately, she fell seriously ill last year.

During her illness, Gabrie recorded a detailed testimony as she was unable to travel to Kenya. Gabrie passed away last December due to a brain tumor.

The suspect widow will be presented in court in Nairobi on Friday. The prosecutor claims there is new evidence and she will face several murder charges. Tob Cohen went missing in the summer of 2019 and was initially declared missing for weeks. Kenyan police traced Sarah with the help of a witness who provided incriminating information. The witness later became a suspect of complicity.

Tob Cohen, a former top executive at Philips, fell in love with Kenya during his assignment there and decided to make it his home until his tragic death.
