Macron deletes visit to Serbia because of 'yellow vests'

belgrade - The French president Emmanuel Macron wants to postpone a planned visit to Serbia for a few weeks. That is what the Serbian president Aleksandar Vučić announced after a telephone conversation with his French colleague.

Macron actually had a two-day visit to the Balkan country this week in his diary. However, he is under pressure in his own country due to mass protests against the policy of his government. In the past two Saturdays, Paris changed into a battlefield. This weekend hundreds of people were arrested because of the disturbances.
