- Forward Álvaro Morata is set to join Serie A's Como, reuniting with former teammate Cesc Fabregas at the club. The Spain international, 32, will be playing for his seventh senior club.

Álvaro Morata Set to Join Cesc Fabregas at Como

Forward Álvaro Morata is on the brink of joining Serie A's Como, according to sources. The 32-year-old Spanish international is making the move after a short stint at Galatasaray, following his departure from AC Milan last summer.

Reunion with Cesc Fabregas

Morata will reunite with former teammate Cesc Fabregas at Como, who finished 10th in their return to Italy's top flight last season. The club already boasts several Spanish players in their squad, including recent signing Jesús Rodriguez from Real Betis.

Varied Career

Como will mark Morata's seventh senior club, highlighting his career's constant movement across top European teams like Real Madrid, Juventus, Chelsea, and Atlético Madrid. After expressing regret over leaving Atlético for Milan last year, Morata is now set to embark on a new chapter in Serie A.

The forward's decision to join Como comes as Galatasaray reportedly finalizes the signing of Victor Osimhen, limiting Morata's playing opportunities at the Turkish club this season.

Despite facing mental health challenges, including depression and panic attacks, Morata led the Spain national team to victory at Euro 2024 after considering quitting the team earlier in his career.
