Ukraine's Prime Minister Stresses the Need for Security Guarantees

Prime Minister Denis Shmygal stated that Ukraine will not sign any agreement without security guarantees, especially in relation to investments in the country's mineral resources.

Shmygal highlighted the direct relevance of the agreement to Ukraine's security and mentioned that the final draft is named 'Agreement on Establishing Rules and Conditions for the Investment Fund for Ukraine's Reconstruction.'

He further explained that the 10th article of the draft includes provisions for obtaining necessary security guarantees for achieving lasting peace in Ukraine, emphasizing that both the President and the government will not separate this agreement from the security guarantees for Ukraine.
