Italy coast guard picks migrants

rome - The Italian Coast Guard has more than three hundred migrants at sea picked up who tried to Europe crossing from Egypt. The group of migrants from countries such as Syria, Libya and Somalia consists of 156 men, 51 women and 107 minors, the Coast Guard said Thursday.

The Coast Guard was assisted by a Spanish aircraft from the European border agency Frontex. A Coast Guard spokeswoman said it did not reach the first time that refugees try from Egypt Europe, but Libya is a more common starting place.
