Chelsea has finalized the transfer of 19-year-old centre-back Mamadou Sarr from RC Strasbourg on a long-term contract until 2033. Sarr, who previously played for Lens, made 29 appearances for Strasbourg this season.

Youth Career and International Recognition

Sarr, a product of Lens' youth system, caught the attention of Chelsea after his performances with Strasbourg. He has represented France at various youth levels and most recently played for the U20 national team.

The signing of Sarr follows Chelsea's acquisition of striker Liam Delap and the return of winger Jadon Sancho to Manchester United after his loan spell.
