PARIS - After the attack on the Champs-Elysées, the French police have searched Thursday's home for the victim's house in a suburb of Paris. That reported French media.
According to BFMTV, it is about Chelles, a neighborhood on the east side of Paris.
The prosecutor of Paris says that the identity of the perpetrator has been determined, but that has not yet been expelled because the investigation is still ongoing.
Islamic State has claimed responsibility for the attack via its propaganda channel Amaq. The claim is called Abu Yousif al-Baljiki, or Abu Yousif de Belg. That's a warrior name, in Arabic kunya.
