Hospital must pay compensation after death baby

knokke-heist - A head physician, anesthetist and the Belgian hospital AZ Zeno in Knokke-Heist were found responsible by the judge for the death of baby Jasper. The eight-month-old boy got tubes and was operated on polyps. During the procedure, a large amount of nitrous oxide was administered instead of oxygen.
The child was transferred to the hospital in Bruges, but died a few days later.
