Aston Villa has finalized the loan signing of Chelsea defender Axel Disasi until the end of the season. The move comes after talks between Chelsea and Spurs ended, making Villa the frontrunners for his signature.
There is no option to make the move permanent in the summer, with Villa covering Disasi's wages. This signing adds to Villa's busy January transfer window, which also saw the arrivals of Marcus Rashford, Marco Asensio, Donyell Malen, and Andrés García.
