Liverpool's Luis Díaz Nearing £65.5m Bayern Munich Transfer Agreement

Liverpool and Bayern Munich are in advanced discussions for the transfer of winger Luis Díaz, with sources revealing they are nearing a £65.5 million ($88m) deal inclusive of add-ons.

Díaz's Situation

Amidst transfer rumors, Luis Díaz missed Liverpool's recent friendly against AC Milan. Manager Slot confirmed Díaz's determination to leave Anfield this summer, stating he's training well but not currently playing games.

Slot mentioned speaking to Díaz about the situation but avoided commenting on the player's desire to depart. Liverpool had rejected previous offers from Barcelona and Bayern, with the latter making a €67.5 million bid earlier this month.

Productive Season and Impending Departure

Díaz had a successful season with Liverpool, scoring 17 goals and contributing to their Premier League victory. The Colombian forward, who joined from FC Porto in 2022, is set to depart as his contract expires in 2027.

His exit will assist in balancing Liverpool's summer spending, which includes significant investments in new players.
