Group of migrants with tear gas from cargo ship

tripoli - The Libyan authorities have taken dozens of migrants from a cargo ship after about a week and a half. They were rescued at sea and refused to disembark in the North African country because they wanted to be brought to Europe.

A local commander of the coast guard told the Reuters news agency that tear gas was used to get everyone offboard. An unknown number of people were injured. Meanwhile, all migrants have been transferred to a detention center. There are reportedly 92 people removed from the ship.
