Kamala Harris Campaign Outspends Trump in Run-up to Elections

washington - In the lead-up to the November elections, Kamala Harris's campaign is reported to be spending millions more per day than Donald Trump's team.

American presidential campaigns involve huge amounts of money. In August, Harris's campaign spent an average of $7.5 million per day, compared to Trump's average of $2.6 million. Earlier this year, Trump was financially ahead of the Democrats, but that lead was lost after Joe Biden withdrew as a presidential candidate.

By early September, Harris's team had around $404 million in the bank, significantly more than the $295 million available to her rival Donald Trump. While the candidates are still neck and neck in swing states according to polls, Harris is clearly leading financially. This allows the vice president to invest heavily in ads in key states such as North Carolina and Nevada.
