- Google is working on a new way of logging which passwords are unnecessary. VentureBeat writes based on a Reddit post that Google has asked a limited number of testers to try out a new system of logging. Completing a password is not necessary.
Instead of your password, Google asks for approval via an external device, in most cases a smartphone. For example, anyone on his PC to Gmail. com surfing and wants to log on, get on his or her smartphone to whether they really want to log in or not. Who presses yes, then log on to the website.
Completely new is Google's system is not. Yahoo offers users a few weeks the ability to log in via their phones.
