Manchester City to Challenge Liverpool for Marc Guéhi

Manchester City is reportedly competing with Liverpool for Crystal Palace center back Marc Guéhi in the January transfer window. Guéhi, a key target for Liverpool, might be available for a lower fee after the failed deal in the summer. Real Madrid, Barcelona, and Bayern Munich are also eyeing the 25-year-old.

Transfer Rumors and Gossip

Liverpool's pursuit of Guéhi could face competition from Manchester City as they seek to strengthen their defense. Despite Palace accepting a £35m bid from Liverpool previously, the deal fell through. City could take advantage of this situation to make a move for Guéhi. Meanwhile, Bruno Fernandes of Manchester United is still open to a move to the Saudi Pro League, with SPL clubs interested in signing him in 2026.

Belgium international Yannick Carrasco is looking to return to Europe from Saudi club Al Shabab, with Besiktas showing interest. Juventus midfielder Khephren Thuram has attracted attention from a Saudi Pro League team and a top European club, but Juventus is reluctant to let him go. Aston Villa, Leeds United, and Newcastle United are eyeing Crystal Palace striker Jean-Philippe Mateta for the January transfer window.

Al Ahli and Al Nassr are considering a bid for Manchester United's Harry Maguire, while Manchester United is looking to loan out André Onana and Tyrell Malacia. Rayo Vallecano midfielder Pathé Ciss has agreed to join Al Shabab in Saudi Arabia. Several other transfer rumors involving players from AC Milan, Lyon, and more are circulating in the football world.
