Expensive bags pushes sales luxury brand Hermès

- The French maker of luxury goods Hermès booked a lot more sales in the third quarter, mainly due to a strong demand for pepper leather handbags.

Revenues grew by 11 percent to 1.34 billion euros, announced the company on Wednesday.

That is above expectations of analysts. Hermès announced that it continues to invest in the production of luxury handbags, including the Birkin bags that need to be tampered with with a sloppy 10,000 euro. Thus, in Bordeaux and the Paris area, there are two workshops for the production of leather products.

The other industries, where perfumes, scarves and other clothing accessories are being made, performed well in the last quarter. The perfume branch grew in the past period even by almost a quarter (23 percent).
