Nottingham Forest Complete Signing of James McAtee

Nottingham Forest has finalized the signing of Manchester City midfielder James McAtee in a deal reportedly worth up to £30 million, with additional clauses included.

Details of the Transfer

McAtee, an England under-21 international, makes the move to the City Ground after spending 12 years at City, including four years in Pep Guardiola's first team.

Despite interest from Bundesliga clubs, McAtee chose to remain in the Premier League for more playing time. He scored seven goals in 27 appearances for City last season but sought more regular game time.

Previous Experience

During his time at City, McAtee had successful loan spells at Sheffield United, where he scored 14 goals and provided 8 assists. He also represented England at the Under-21 European Championship.

The transfer signifies a new chapter for McAtee as he looks to establish himself as a key player at Nottingham Forest.
