benidorm - An 81-year-old woman complained to Thomas Cook because in her hotel in Benidorm there were 'too many Spaniards'.

'Can not those people go on holiday somewhere else?' Writes the English Freda Jackson in a letter full of complaints. 'My vacation in Poseidon Playa was ruined'.

The Spaniards had worked her on the nerves the entire two-week vacation. Moreover, the holidaymakers were 'rude' writes the lamenting grandmother who says that she was once overthrown by a hotel guest.

The entertainment was only focused on Spaniards and the food was MUCH too Spanish, according to Freda who traveled with a 61-year-old man.

At the end of the trip, which cost around 1300 euros, she had only been crying.

The long list of complaints also states that she had not been informed of a flight change, and that she had not received the promised room on the ground floor. The woman with a disability had to go up and down dozens of steps now and again.

Thomas Cook initially offered an amount of just under a hundred euros in compensation. After the complaint, that amount was increased to a thick six hundred euros. The English must still respond to that.

The travel company offers apologies. It was offered to her up and down the stairs. Thomas Cook emphasizes that the money is not paid because of the complaint about 'too many Spaniards', writes the Daily Mail.
