Elderly man dies in a hot tub

halle - In a nursing home in the German state of Saxony-Anhalt have two employees a 79-year-old man left alone in a bath too hot. The man suffered severe burns and died later in the burn center in Halle. Justice examines whether the nurses could be prosecuted for manslaughter.

An autopsy has yet to determine the exact cause of death. It is excluded that a victim has raised the temperature of the water itself. The 79-year-old man was half paralyzed after a stroke and could not talk. Therefore, he could not provide an alarm.
