Divers mountains spectacular treasure

- Israeli divers in the Mediterranean found a spectacular treasure with thousands of ancient coins and several bronzes.

It involves the loading of a 1,600 year old sunken merchant ship from the late Roman period. This is the largest find of its kind in three decades time, the Israeli authorities said Monday.

The divers found the valuables in the ancient port city of Caesarea Israel not far from Haifa. About a year ago there was ever found a treasure of gold coins in 2000, which also applied as an archaeological sensation. The hobby divers have immediately reported the valuable new discovery to the competent authorities. They get a reward.
