Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson to Join Bayern Munich

Chelsea's Nicolas Jackson is poised to make a lucrative move to Bayern Munich in a loan deal worth up to €81.5 million after complications following Liam Delap's injury.

Key Details of the Transfer

After Chelsea accepted Bayern's offer, Jackson will undergo a medical in Munich. The deal includes a €16.5m loan fee with an obligation to sign him permanently for €65m in 2026.

Transfer Twist

Following Delap's injury, Chelsea canceled their initial agreement with Bayern but later revived the deal as Jackson refused to return to Stamford Bridge. This move left Chelsea signing Marc Guiu and allowing Tyrique George to join Fulham.

Sunderland's Transfer Activity

Netherlands striker Brian Brobbey is set to join Sunderland from Ajax for a deal worth up to €25m. Sunderland is also bringing in Lutsharel Geertruida from Leipzig, with Brobbey adding depth to their attacking options.

Tom Hamilton's information from ESPN contributed to this report.
