Iranian President Pezeshkian's Response to US

During an event in Tehran, President Pezeshkian stated that Iran is not against negotiations with the US but will not negotiate under pressure. Responding to the US's pressure tactics with a Turkish poem, Pezeshkian emphasized the importance of standing firm in the face of threats.

Turkish Poem:

Pezeşkiyan highlighted that despite threats, Iran will not be coerced into compliance and will only engage in respectful dialogue. He also addressed the threats from the US and Israel, asserting Iran's unwavering stance against intimidation.

Hamaney Requests Iran's Funds from Qatar

Iran's Supreme Leader Ali Hamaney urged the Emir of Qatar to release Iran's $6 billion frozen assets in Doha, emphasizing the need for Qatar to resist US pressure and return the funds to Iran. The funds were initially frozen in South Korea in 2019 and transferred to Doha as part of a hostage exchange agreement between the US and Iran. However, following recent events, the US and Qatar imposed restrictions on Iran's access to the funds to prevent potential support for Hamas.
